Through some light research on the internet I have determined that my name is of an English/Scottish descent. Last week I returned to the land of my ancestors, well some of them at least. The trip did not start out very good as I had to ask the rental car attendant to show me how to open the hatch of my rental car (turns out I was opening the back window, which prevented the hatch from opening). The right hand drive and the roundabouts take some time to get used to but I consider myself a pro. I'm not sure how the English drivers would score me on a scale of 1 to 10 but I'm also not asking. How crazy and/or scared do I look in this picture. This is at the Roman Bath exhibit in Bath, England. A spectacular city of beauty and substance. I just walked around and checked out the shops and people. I had a great coffee and did this short tour of the amazing hot spring. It's amazing to think that thousands of years ago people thought of this building as a mystical place and I got to see it for just 10 pounds. Driving to Bath from Bristol was absolutely amazing. The roads were so small but everyone in England is so courteous it just seems to work. These small English towns are a site to see. I really enjoyed the driving. I also made it down to Stonehenge on a typically wet and cold English day. Perfect for a breakfast of coffee and biscuits. I wish I could have seen this monument at it's peak. It's amazing to think that this monument is thousands of years old and several different civilizations used it in different ways. My GPS did not function very well but I was able to find these great places. I am still confused on how the gratuity works in English restaurants but I cannot wait to go back.

I have not figured out what your marvelous promotion is yet, but keep dropping the hints...I'll get it. And Congrats. You paid your Jersey dues.
Hugs and happy trails, Charlotte
